9/05/09 end of the season with my club E.S. Bessans
I left Annecy forf a weekend to join Bessans and mark the end of the season with my club. A very nice evening, with the president, the elected representatives, the relatives, the young people and the people who live in the village.
I am happy to take place in a dynamic club which supports each of his members, in biathlon as in cross-country skiing and alpine skiing.

15/04/09 End of the season!
4- 5/04/2009 : French championship in Les Saisies
I arrived in Les Saisies, very motivated, with the voluntee to finish well the season. I return satisfied, with two nice second places, in difficult conditions of snow and on a very tiring track.
Thanks to all of you to be moved to encourage us!

- 4/04 relay : Savoy in the 2nd place, with Julie Carraz-Colin, Pauline Macabies, Vincent Jay and Alexis Boeuf.
A positive assessment:
With two very good races in Vancouver, the site of the next Olympiades (15th and 17th places), a podium in relay, and the obtaining of the minima to be selectable in the O.G., my objectives are reached, and I go on progressing.
I am now going to please me in other sports (Alpine skiing, telemark) and to rest before restarting the training in May!

17/03/09 Nice Canadian week!
I come back very satisfied with my week in Whistler, the site of the next Olympic Winter games: 17th of the individual, in spite of 2 penalties on the first shooting, and 15th of the sprint with 10/10 (my first " no fault " in the World Cup!).
Over there, I loved everything: tracks, stadium, landscapes, atmosphere...
The objective is to return next year!
8/03/09 Vancouver !
We arrived in Whistler on Friday evening and discovered the stadium and the tracks yesterday. The landscapes are magnificent, super friendly people, in brief everything is well!

6/03/09 Customs tournament
2 races were programmed: a 5 km skate with on-line departure and a team sprint.
On the 5 km, most hard was to manage to take place during the first three km, then to hold the rhythm until the arrival.
I made all the race within Marie - Laure Brunet's skis. We finished in the sprint, Marie-Laure is 6th and I, 7th.
We (the Frenchwomen) got the trophee awarded to the nation which, by adding the times of the 3 better athletes, obtains the smallest duration.
For the team sprint, I teamed up with Selina Gasparin, a Swiss biathlete-customs officer. We end 6th.
Beyond the races, I spent very nice moments, with ceremonies in uniform, meetings with the managers of the Customs (among whom the Chief Executive Officer, Jérome Fournel), and with the athletes of the other disciplines that we have not often the opportunity to see! Photos soon!

18/02/09 Podium!
With the exclusion of 2 Russians for doping, the results of all the beginning of season were corrected. I earn 2 places on each race, and our relay of Oberhof is 3rd and not 4th! We missed a feast, that's a pity !
Certainly, this fact "makes dirty" the biathlon, but I take these positive contôles as so many victories for the fight anti-doping.
The I.B.U. fights effectively against this plague and it is a good thing for our sport.
15/02/09 Biathlon Challenge in the "Plans d'Hotonnes"
A sprint under the sun, on beautiful very snowy tracks!
The wind invited itself all the same on the shooting range "to pepper" the running, but for me it took place well!
I win with 9/10 at the shot and 1min14s beforehand on the 2nd.
But the most important is that I found a great pleasure on skis and behind my rifle. Thanks to the advices of Julien Bouchet, my trainer of the Committee I approached the race " on the good side " without thinking about the result, and that paid!

Week from 9 till 14 February
I spent a good week in the "Pole France" of Prémanon, to train in group and benefit from advices of Patrice Bailly-Salins for the shot.

8/02/09 Transjurassienne, 30 km skate
The Transjurassienne is a famous cross-country skiing meeting wich takes place in the north east part of the Alps (through the Jura) and gathers about 1 500 competitors in several races. I choose to try the 30 km skating.
Because of plentiful snow roads and of numerous bypasses, I arrived on the departure line 5 small minutes before the whistle, not warmed and without having tried my skis... On the 10 first km, it was O.K. But then, from the 10th to the 20th km, it became harder. The track, "rather flat" as it was said to me, counted in fact a lot of climbs with powder-snow where I lost a lot of time!
The end, after the famous " slope of the opticians ", was better. I end 5th.
The "long distances" are really different from the biathlon, the effort is in not the same at all and I prefer the biathlon!!!
But the atmosphere was very nice, and I was pleased to meet again cross-country skiers and some of ex-biathletes come to run the 76km!

I become aware, at that time when morale is low, how my family and my friends are... in gold!
Your messages, advice, encouragement, invitations do me good.
I really feel lucky and I tell you all a big "Thank you".
I also thank the administration of Customs, particularly Christian Pfisntag, who keeps me his confidence and support.

Yesterday morning, as I finished my training week with the aim of the World Championships, my trainers told me that, in fact, I don't go to Korea!
24/01/09 Antholz-Anterselva, after the races
As I hoped, I was able to take the departure of the sprint last Thursday. With the shape of the day (I was ill two days before) and 9/10 in the shot, I end 46th and qualify myself for the pursuit.
As you maybe saw then, I did'nt participate in this pursuit on Saturday.
This was a decision of the trainers.
Instead of running, Julie (Carraz-Colin) and me had to make a training with the aim of the World Championships in Korea where we shall go as supply runners.

Back over the beginning of the month
7/01/09 Oberhof, relay :
In lack of confidence in the shooting, I did not have to take part in the race. But Julie (Carraz) fell ill in the morning, I thus replaced her. I made a beautiful shooting in prone position and had a little fear with the standing shooting : 3 missed targets, but no penalty loop ! We finish 4th.
9/01/09 Oberhof, sprint :
25 000 persons in the stadium and on the tracks ; 5,8 millions televiewers on ZDF!
My departure with the number 1 was rather impressive!
With 2 faults on my standing shooting , I end 37th, but the positive point is that in skiing, it is much better, especially in the ascents!
14/01/09 Ruhpolding, relay :
I began my lap in the 13th place. I wanted "to attack" my prone shooting to earn some places, but I fired too fast and got a penalty loop.
My standing shooting was fast and without fault. So I could
finish in 10th position. We end finally 7th.
16/01/09 Ruhpolding, sprint :
Good shape, good skis, good glide, I missed only a good shooting to get a nice run!
With 2 faults in standing position, I finish 49th, qualified for the pursuit.
A sore throat began with the sprint. I was ill for the pursuit. I tried to run, doing all the shootings, but it was not possible to finish the track. I had to abandon.
Now, I stay in the warmth and I look after myself. I hope to be able to take the departure of the sprint of Anterselva, next Thursday.

23/12/08 Back to France
At home for some days, after 2 weeks in Hochfilzen (Austria) for World cups 2 and 3.
The result is so so...
12/12/08 Hochfilzen (Austria) World Cup 2, sprint
I fired fast 9/10, 2nd shooting time of the race, and on skis it was also well (good skis, good glide and the shape which returns), what allows me to take a nice 24th place!
13/12/08 Hochfilzen (Austria) World Cup 2, pursuit
Regrettably I did not take advantage of my time on the sprint. With 2 penalties on the first shooting, then 2 others on the second, I was far from the best women. 7 penalties in all, it is far too much to hope for a correct place.
17/12/08 Hochfilzen (Austria) World Cup 3, individual
With number 2, under the snow, I was indeed in my running until the last shooting. Regrettably I failed on the last shooting by bringing out 3 bullets!
I missed a beautiful running! What a pity!
20/12/08 Hochfilzen (Austria) World Cup 3, sprint
I absolutely wanted to finish with a good race, particularly with a nice shooting.
I thus fought on every bullet to finish with 9/10.
Not bad, but not enough for a place in the first 30, I end 33rd (earning 8 points).
On these last races(shopping), my shooting from a prone position strengthened, and up, I know in which direction to work. About my shape, I feel a little better in every race.
On the other hand, I did not yet manage to transfer on skis the technical progress made in ski wheels this Summer.
I have thus two weeks to work, before leaving again for Oberhof (Geramny) at the beginning of January!

06/12/08 Oestersund (Sweden) difficult beginning...
This first week did not go as I hoped for it.
1st race: individual. I left not rather fast, I did not manage to put myself in the rhythm, and I was also disturbed by details. It was not good as well in ski as in shooting. I end 69th with 4 penalties.
2nd race: sprint. I left fast, and then I did my best. Regrettably, that did not pay. I end 73rd with 2 penalties.
After the disappointment and the anger, I end finally less deprived than after the individual because I would not have been able to make much furthermore.
- the meteorological conditions hardened at the end of the race ; the snow began falling, slowing down the glide. With the number 96, I left in the most difficult conditions.
- I still miss ski and especially races on skis. The ski asks for finer sensations than the roller skiing, and I need more time to find the efficiency and the technique that I acquired on ski wheels this Summer.
I trained well, the shape is there, I thus keep confidence and my level of ski will return.
Meeting thus next week to Hochfilzen!

27/11/08 Departure for Sweden!
Luggage are ready!
Julie Caraz-Colin, Marie Dorin, Fred Jean, Vincent Jay, Jean Guy Beatrix and me will take the plane tomorrow morning to Oestersund. The rest of the French Biathlon team will do the same on Sunday.
After the Val d'Aoste, I finally joined Bessans where the snow arrived, followed by a nice cold !
I could train super! I am now ready and very motivated for the beginning of the season!
Good luck to all the French biathlets and cross country skiers who will participate in the Biathlon Challenge and Nordic Challenge in Bessans this week end !

I just stayed 3 days in Italy (Arpy, Val d'Aoste) with Fred Jean and Martin Fourcade, the only snowy place near here.
There was a 6 km track with 4 mechanical targets for shooting.
This mini training, organized by us because nothing from the French Federation, was very sympathetic ; it was good to find again our skis!
Next week, on Friday, plane to Oerstersund (Sweden) for the 1st World Cup!
17/11/08 Selections for the first World Biathlon Cups
As there was a big smog in Vassieu, we waited for two days without racing. Then the coaches decided to change place and we went to the Plans d'Hotonnes.
Saturday, Individual : good feelings in ski ; I missed my first shootings (3 mistakes in the first two ones) but it became better then, and I won the race wth 17/20.
Sunday, Sprint : I wanted to win for being selected immediately (on the 3 races, they remove the worst and keep the two best ones).
One mistake prone, but a nice 5/5 up and I win this sprint!
Monday, Mass start : I am already selected. It's a race for pleasure!
Sparing my efforts, I finish at the 2nd place, which is well enough!

29/09/08 World Championship of Summer Biathlon in Bessans
This week of competitions was good for the French team, with 14 medals!
As for me, I realize nice Championships by ending 7th of the sprint with 10/10 in the shooting and 6th of the pursuit with the 2nd time in skiing!
I had some pressure because I was at home, but I did my best to be present on these two races, of which am satisfied.
These Championships also marked the end of the big block of the Summer training.
I am now going to take a little rest. Then all the women team will meet in Prémanon first, in Germany then, to go on preparing this Winter season!
01/09/08 Reception in honour of Cédric Paty and Daniel Narcisse
Daniel Narcisse and Cédric Paty, both players of Chambéry Savoy Handball awarded a gold medal gold in Pekin Olympic Games. They were celebrated in Chambéry today. A festive evening, with two great champions !
Bravo to them and to the rest of the team!

31/08/08Assessment of the training course in Bessans
Another very good training course, under the sun!
The groups of training A and B were present, plus some members of the German male team and several committees.
The shape is good, the morale also... For summarising, everything is well!
The next training course will take place in Les Plans d'Hotonnes, from September 15th. It will end with the French championships of Summer biathlon which will be used as a selection for the World championships of Summer biathlon, from 22 till 28 September in Bessans.
Waiting, I go on training alone in Bessans !

30/07/08 Assessment of the training course in Norway
These two Norwegian weeks were great because of the good weather, the magnificent landscapes, my progress in ski wheels and in shooting, a good physical shape...

The races of the "Blink festival" were very nice, with an enthusiast public !

After some resting days, I go on training alone in Haute Maurienne, waiting for the next training course which will take place in Bessans from 18 till 27 August.

15/06/08 Some news !
First of all, sorry for this long silence... At the moment, with intensive classes and trainings, my days are full-full and I have not enough time to update my website!
About my studies : this 2nd year in the IUT of Annecy takes place well, except that timetables are very very heavy (even too much!).
it is often necessary to choose between school and training, and it is not easy!
After May dedicated to a fresh start in wheel-skiing, cycling and running, I began again, in June, the "musculation" : a special training for muscles, which is different of what is called in France "body building"!
For that, I have just purchased a "karachov" or "arm machine" : a special apparatus which recreates the arms'movement in skiing.
Here it is, face and profile.
Next week, the French Biathlon Team will have his first Summer training in Boulouris, near St Raphaël, in the Mediterranee seaside...
But the sea has to be merited! We shall go there in 3 days, cycling from Grenoble, via Briançon and Barcelonette!
